BACKSTORY.
Ryu Areum has always been a bright and bubbly spirit. Even with financial struggles faced by her single working mother, she was always grateful and hardworking. Young as she was, she fell in love with the arts and immersed herself in the craft. Her mother, Jinri, knew it was not practical given their situation but she always supported her daughter’s dreams. Because of the encouragement, her confidence and ambitions only grew. Areum was recruited by an elite high school as one of their reputable band members. It was around this time that her mother met and fell in love with Rafael Serrano, a Filipino businessman handling multiple corporations.Ambrosia Vixen Ryu Serrano was the English name she chose to use when they moved to the Philippines to continue her education at Beaumont University. Apart from studying Performing Arts, she also went into business herself with her stepfather as an investor of her visions. She was happy with her life, but something was sitting at the back of her mind. She was never close with her mother’s side since they disowned Jinri for being unmarried when Areum was born. And Ambrosia had no idea who her father was. Not until a Camp Enigma satyr approached and told her about her origins.Apparently, she was a legacy of the Greek goddess Aphrodite and was blessed by the twins Apollo and Artemis when she was a child. Yearning to uncover more about her history, Amber went to the Camp for training and education. It was there that she found out the identity of her biological father, Amadeo Russo.

SOCIALITE.
Ambrosia started her modeling career trying out in different agencies. In the past two years, she was able to sign with four different agencies. Because of her pleasing personality, she quickly made friends and got invited to several social scenes. Just hit her up and she’ll definitely make an appearance. However, she isn’t just concerned with high society. Amber is also socially conscious. She even joined pageants as a beauty queen. The Barbie Doll believes in never doing something without reason, and so all of her ventures mean something to her personally or for others. She is also the type of person to not forget any of the friends she made, even if they have lost connection. Don’t be shy to approach her!

ARTIST.
Ambrosia has always been a performer. She was never one to shy away from the karaoke machine and always volunteered for school presentations. Because of her talent, she was recruited by an elite high school to cultivate and share her skills as a performer. Amber was a vocalist for a famous band.Before her high school graduation, she became a founding member of a girl band turned idol group known as SORELLA. Ambrosia adopted the stage name MYNX for all her SORELLA-related activities. Eventually, the leader position passed on to her. She became the main vocalist, main dancer, and lead rapper of the group. Her talents garnered more recognition than ever. She was offered a contract under LUMINARY Records as a soloist. She debuted with her stage name VIXEN.

DESIGNER.
When Areum was a child, her mother Jinri worked as a seamstress part time. Having learned a couple of skills in dressmaking, Jinri would make her princess clothes. This was Ambrosia’s first experience with fashion design. It sparked a deep love of the craft within her, and so she started her own brand known as Ambrosia by Vixen. She would release collections and get invited to fashion week to release her latest lines.

PLANNER / FREELANCER.
Ambrosia is incredibly organized. Putting this skill to good use, she was recruited to be the Head of the Planning Department under LIFETIME Events. When the company closed, she still took charge in planning personal events of hers and her loved ones when they asked. She also freelances as an editor since she fell in love with graphic design.

DANCER.
Amber has this quirky quality wherein as long as she hears music, her body has to move. She lived for dancing all sorts of styles. In university, she was part of the cheer squad and dance crew. Ambrosia is also part of the Butterfly Ballet Company, famous for their traditional and modern ballet shows.

FILM PRODUCTION.
Ambrosia was recruited by a film production company as one of their directors, writers, and actresses. She signed with KissAsian and worked on different projects with a team of talented individuals to make all sorts of shows, movies, and shorts.

SHOW HOST
Having such a star quality about her and knowing how to entertain well, Amber eventually became a host of her own show known as Vibe with Vixen. It is a variety show of her own design where she has special guests on and they do several activities for the viewers’ enjoyment.

WRITER.
Amber has always had a way with words. She considers herself to be skilled in the use of the English language. She has posted several of her creative written works independently and as part of Dead Press Society. Amber also ventured into nonfiction writing with her own magazine named AMBROSIA. She was also recruited by Les Ecrivains as an editorial writer (and creative specialist), where she learned more about this style of writing.

LEGACY OF APHRODITE.
Ambrosia found out at 18 years old that her father was Aphrodite’s son. She had the blood of the Greek gods running through her veins. Apart from this, it was also revealed to her that the twins Artemis and Apollo once found a lost 4 year old Areum and returned her to Jinri, bestowing upon the child their blessings. She had always yearned for a connection with her father somehow to learn more about herself, too. She went to Camp Enigma to find answers to her lifelong questions. There, she trained as the big house members kept a watchful eye on her. Could she really be the prophecy’s hero?

Ryu Jinri (Im Yoona, NPC). Mother of Ambrosia. She was a waitress of a high-end nightclub in her youth to pay for her college tuition and apartment bills. There, she met Amber’s father, an Italian businessman named Amadeo. They hit it off and had a week of passionate affairs. He had to leave South Korea after his work there was settled and they failed to keep in touch. Jinri later found out that she was pregnant with a baby girl. When her parents found out, they disowned her and she dropped out of university. She stayed in her apartment at Gangnam and took on more jobs to provide for her child. Jinri dedicated herself to becoming a single and working mother, providing her daughter Areum with all the support and love she never received. When Areum was in high school, she met Rafael Serrano and fell in love. After two years of being together, they got married and moved to the Philippines.Amadeo Russo (Park Seojoon, NPC). Biological father of Ambrosia. He is the main supplier of fabric and other materials for different kinds of apparel worldwide for fashion houses. His company’s main office is in his hometown of Milan, Italy. When he went to South Korea in early 2003, he met a lovely woman named Jinri. They were madly infatuated with each other. It broke his heart a little when he had to leave in a rush. He later threw himself into his work, not knowing until his daughter was almost 20 years old that she existed. He desperately wanted to make up for the time he lost by being as good a father as he can be to her.Rafael Serrano (Park Hyunsik, NPC). Stepfather of Ambrosia. He is a successful businessman handling multiple corporations. When his first wife passed away, he didn’t think he could ever love again. But when he met Jinri, his life opened up once more. He welcomed Areum as part of the family, even helping her pick out an English name that incorporated his last name. Even though he was coming in late in her life, he stood as her father figure. He also asked that his children, Amber’s older siblings, treat her and Jinri as part of their family. Rafael encouraged her in growing her talents and pursuing any field she wanted to.Akishi Izue Nishimura / Ambrix Isekiel Serrano. Stepbrother of Ambrosia. He is the adopted son of Rafael Serrano and his first wife. He was their only child before Amber came along. They didn’t get along in the beginning since both never had a sibling before.
